Day 1(registration)
all participant were sort into few watches..there are total 6 watches, camah,ulu sepat,mulu,ledang,bubu and beremban..i was in watch ulu sepat.. My instructor name is Syafirul Safri but we always call him usop or ursa.. , our assistant is an european ,his name is James..here is the name ulu sepat watch,Andrew,Chin hooi,Nicholas(my self),Hong Ping,Limin,Dickie,Samuel,
Guo Unn,Waltson,Mathan,Ying Jie,Shu Wen ,and Theenesh..We were brief about the "do and donts" in ob,handphones,reading material,mp3,mp4,money and etc are not allowed to bring,we must surrender to the instructor ,he will keep in a safe box..u know wat? i never surrender anything. hahaha.
Day 2
All the 6 watches were gather to take a group picture...then we have robe climbing activity with other 2 watches that is camah and mulu..after lunch we change to wet attire because we are having kayak trial..we learned how to kayak,capsize and raft up ..After the trial we went back to our dorm to bath then at 6.30pm we have our dinner..Arround 8.00pm the instructor brief us on our 1st expedition which is sea expedition..
Day 3
Woke up at 5.45 and bath ..in the morning the water was damn cold ...then we gather in front of the hall to sing our national anthem ,singapore national anthem ,then we help to move the kayak from the boat house to the beach..each kayak will have a gallon of water with'em ..my partner is Ying Jie ..Andrew and Shu Wen are the captian,Kim Yew and Guan Ki are the navigators,Hong Ping and Samuel are the sweepers Li Chye and Daryl are the left flanker,Li Yang and Kelving are the right flanker...we reach our destinaton (Pangkor) arround 1+ the we started to build our tent ,Dickie and Limin cook for our lunch..At 3+ we have an activity called repelling or abseiling,we have to go down a 2 hundred meter rock at 90 degree ,it was fun...At night ,the instructor gave a short brief again about our expedition and had nightwatch..We dint did the nightwatch not because of sleeping ,it's because of the weather.
Day 4
Early in the morning we pack our stuff and ready to kayak back to the base(ob)...in the afternoon ,after our lunch we had htm(jungle tracking) trial..at night after dinner we sat down at the stairs and chit chat while waiting for our briefing on our 2nd expedition,land expedition or Htm..
Day 5
After eating our breakfast we start our 2nd expedition ,we have 4 peak to climb ..so damn long,1st peak is around 1.6 km ..we took around 6 hours to reach the last peak ...after we reach the camp site ,we build up our tent and spend most of our time chit chating..around 6+ we have our dinner..at night we were brief by our instructor about tomorrow routes..then we set a camp fire and make bbq beef burger..while waiting for the burger we listen to Guo Unn problem ,he talk for nearly two hours..then he go to the other camp fire which they are telling horror stories,few minutes later, Guo Unn return to our camp fire trembling,that make us all kinda scared too..so we slept outside near the camp fire cause our tent is too creepy..Ying Jie ,Mathan,Kim Yu,Limin do the night watch while we were sleeping..
Day 6
After the terrible night ,Ying Jie woke us at 5.30am then we return to our tent side and sleep again haha...cause Ying Jie never sleep the whole night..then at 7am we packed our stuff and go back to ob with shortcut ...in the afternoon after we had our lunch we went for rock climbing ..it was fun though...We walk back to ob and then we have our dinner,we sat by the stairs and chit chat ,while waiting for our next expedition which is solo camp..
Day 7
After breakfast ,we have a hot seat before going to solo camp...the area of my tent have many big ants(size of last finger)...Then at night Ying Jie tent was cut because he went to other tent..he packed everything and ran to my tent ...we slept until 12 pm ,suddenly 3 instructor came and ask Ying Jie to return to his spot...then i continue to sleep..
Day 8
Woke up at 5am because the ants start to enter my tent...then i quicky packed all my stuff and go to Ying Jie's spot and wait till 7 am.Then after lunch we changed our clothing and go to an orphanage to do some community service,we pull some roots,sweep and etc..While waiting for the van ,we play with the puppies there..After we have our dinner we went to the gym hall for briefing..It's about tomorow cultural visit in Pangkor Island.After the briefing instructor william came and teach us how to sing the ob spirit,ob school song, and auld lang syne..
Day 9
We took a mother boat to Pangkor Island,we visited the Fu Ling Kong temple,indian temple and fish satay factory...there were 3 big fish in a pond of Fu Ling Kong temple and also miniture of Great Wall of China...After the cultural visit we sat by the store and chit chat about our 1st impression ,then we have our briefing on BBq night..Though hour watch are incharge with cooking but most of the cooking is done by our instructor ursa because we were praticing our watch performance...After the BBq , 3 watches,Mulu ,Ulu Sepat and camah gather at the Dataran Diraja hall ...some of us were playing cards,double dare and etc...Around 1am instructor David came to ask us all return to our dorm ..So we return for a while than we gather again,we lie on the floor to watch the stars,around 3 am+ we return to our dorm and sleep..
Day 10(last day)
We had our last breakfast,then hugged most of the people from watch Mulu ,Ulu Sepat and Camah,brought 3 shirts, take some photos and around 10+ singaporeans were leaving ,all of us were waving good bye to them..Reached kl around 8 + ,take a bath and then go to bed ,
